In 2024, the Annual Community Tree Lighting & Fireworks event at Canyons Village will celebrate its 8th year of delighting locals and visitors alike in the name of festive fun. It’s a welcoming seasonal event used to kick off the holidays in mountain-inspired style that’s presented by Canyons Village Management Association in partnership with Park City Mountain. The result is always mesmerizing and a delight for spectators of all ages. This year, the annual tree lighting and fireworks experience at Canyons Village will be held on November 29 and is scheduled to run from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. There’s no cost to attend, only the requirement that guests bring their sense of holiday fun for this inviting gathering designed to inspire!

A Fun-Filled Schedule of Park City Holiday Events

From the very moment you arrive at the Annual Community Tree Lighting & Fireworks event at Canyons Village, you’ll have options to pack your itinerary with fantastic activities. Between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm, guests are invited to come and shop their way through Canyons Village and Pendry Plaza, where special savings can be found to boost the appeal of this Park City holiday event even further. Starting at 4:00 pm, guests are invited to make their way over to the photo area and capture the holiday moment on camera with Santa himself. Between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, guests who attend the Annual Community Tree Lighting & Fireworks experience at Canyons Village will be treated to live musical performances right on-site. You can expect to enjoy holiday musical favorites that will have you feeling festive in no time. This is also the time of the evening to pick up your souvenir Park City Mountain ornament which is handed out to guests as long as supplies last. Showing up as early as possible to gather yours is highly recommended!

At 6:00 pm, attendees are invited to gather and enjoy the official tree lighting at Canyons Village. This is always a special moment where the charm of the holidays is once again illuminated in festive style. Immediately following the tree lighting, guests are treated to an impressive fireworks display overhead which is sure to thrill attendees of all ages. If you’re up for keeping the fun going after the fireworks, there’s a MegaMind PubQuiz trivia event planned at Hyatt Centric between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
